Dr MJ

Founder and director of the Smileworks Aesthetic HUB, Dr MJ teaches all of our online courses and hands-on training days for our Facial Ultrasound courses. For those looking to take their aesthetic skills to the next level, she also leads our one-to-one mentoring sessions.

After over a decade of aesthetic practice, MJ has well-earned her pristine reputation for her meticulous approach to patient safety. Safety is MJ’s utmost priority and is at the forefront of every HUB course. It is MJ’s core belief that the aesthetic industry will only be respected and successful when it is safe.

After starting out as a dentist and building a flourishing dental practice, MJ eventually found her true passion in non-surgical aesthetic medicine. She now spends her time creating beautiful results for patients and empowering other medical professionals to do the same at the HUB.

MJ has a special interest in managing filler complications using facial ultrasound. She gets referrals from all over the world for these cases and runs the UK’s only dedicated complications clinic. As a pioneer in using facial ultrasound to treat and prevent complications, she will pass on an extremely high level of precision and safety during her courses.

Dr Charlotte

BSc (Hons) MBChB

Among Smileworks’ most skilled aesthetic injectors, Dr Charlotte is an expert at creating perfect lip filler and Botox results that leave patients obsessed. She recently joined our team of esteemed instructors, and we are so lucky to have her expertise on hand. If you’re looking to take part in one of our hands-on Foundation course days, Charlotte will be your instructor!

Charlotte is committed to getting things just right, and this shows in her training style. As her trainee, you will receive unparalleled guidance in how to achieve the perfect results for your patients.

A proud protégé of Dr MJ, Charlotte stands out as one of her most exemplary students. She is an expert in precision injecting techniques and prioritises safety above all else. As your instructor, she has never been more eager to pass along the same values and skills to you during your hands-on training.

When she’s not with patients or teaching courses, Charlotte works as an NHS doctor with experience spanning from general practice to acute medicine. She is currently training to be a psychiatrist to fully understand the essence of human happiness.
