Our facial ultrasound course is coming to Austin this April! Dr MJ is teaming up with Gilbert Saenz III of Austin Plastic Surgeon to bring our world-renowned course to Texas to make it even easier to get top-tier facial ultrasound training. If you’re a medical injector based in North America, this is the perfect chance to learn the art of facial ultrasound without having to fly overseas.
This course consists of two course days: a foundation day and an advanced day. You have the option to do one or both courses. To ensure you walk away with the most comprehensive knowledge and experience in facial ultrasound, we recommend doing both course dates.

what to expect
WHAT IS IT: In the sunny Lone Star State, learn to use state of the art ultrasound equipment and interpret scans for safer practice and enhanced clinical decision-making. If you select the advanced course day, learn how to use ultrasound to recognise different filler types, safely inject, and dissolve complications.
WHAT IT CONTAINS: Our online Foundation Ultrasound course (see the syllabus here), our online Advanced Ultrasound course (see syllabus here), two hands-on training days in Austin (you can choose one or both!), and a networking dinner on Saturday night.

YOUR OUTCOME: Our foundation facial ultrasound course teaches you how to use, produce, and interpret ultrasound images and recognise anatomy. Our advanced facial ultrasound course teaches you how to identify, inject, and dissolve with ultrasound technology. Use these skills to modify treatment approaches for safer practice. Get access to an exclusive WhatsApp group that offers one-on-one support from Dr MJ and other delegates.

1. Online Learning
Start your course online, at home. Complete the learning in your own time before joining Dr MJ in Austin for hands-on training. Our world-class online learning is rigorous and hard. So be prepared!
2. Hands-on Training
Practical training in Austin, TX. Take advantage of a small group learning experience. Treat models from consultation to treatment yourself with no model sharing.
3. Post Course Mentoring
After your training day(s) in Austin, Dr MJ is available for 1-2-1 mentoring sessions in Liverpool to further your learning. You will also be invited into our exclusive WhatsApp group of medical professionals.
Course Costs
Only the two-day course fee entitles you to 12 months access to both the online foundation Facial Ultrasound and online Advanced Facial Ultrasound courses. If you choose to do only the foundation or only the advanced day, you will only get the respective online course. To get both online courses, you must book for both training days. After 12 months, you will be offered a subscription for the online courses.
When you’ve completed your courses, we strongly encourage you to join Dr MJ for 1-2-1 Mentoring session in Liverpool to further advance your skills.
Dr MJ Rowland-Warmann

LEAD INSTRUCTOR
Dr MJ Rowland-Warmann is the founder and lead clinician at Smileworks Liverpool. She is a dentist, and holds Masters degrees in Orthodontics and Aesthetic Medicine. Her practice is limited to non-surgical aesthetics with a special area of interest in the management of dermal filler complications using ultrasound, accepting national and international referrals for the resolution of filler-related incidents.
She lectures on dermal filler complication management and founded the Smileworks HUB, a training academy for medical professionals to advance their skills in aesthetic medicine and ultrasound. She is a speaker for Clarius Mobile Ultrasound, GE Healthcare and Galderma. Dr Rowland-Warmann is an advocate for greater safety in aesthetics and has been widely published in industry and national media to raise standards within aesthetics.
Gilbert Saenz III, PA-C

COURSE FACILITATOR
Gilbert Saenz III is a board-certified physician assistant specializing in Plastic Surgery and Aesthetic Medicine. With over 20 years of experience, he provides expertise in facial injectables, non-surgical body contouring, laser therapies, and Full Facial Rejuvenation. Gilberto holds a Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies and a Master’s from the University of Texas-Pan American, along with a Biology degree from the University of Texas-San Antonio.
He transitioned from Family Medicine to Dermatology, practicing General, Aesthetic, and Surgical Dermatology for 16 years before moving to Plastic Surgery. Gilberto is certified by the NCCPA and is a member of APSPA, SDPA, AAPA, and CMAC. His commitment to staying current in Aesthetic Medicine has led him to train with leading aesthetic providers worldwide and specialize in ultrasound techniques and complication management for aesthetics.
Online Learning: Foundation Ultrasound
Our online courses offer multimedia, accelerated learning for maximum knowledge retention. We built our courses with medical professionals in mind. Each month, new lessons will be added to the course.
